The Framework of Our Partnership

Welcome to the standard of excellence. When you engage with L&A Tent & Event Rentals, you are entering into a partnership governed by forty years of structural engineering expertise and a “Safety-First” philosophy. The following terms ensure the protection of your guests, your property, and our elite inventory.

1. The Core Protocol: “No Staking, No Tenting”

Our reputation is built on structural integrity. L&A reserves the absolute right to refuse or alter an installation if the site conditions—including underground utilities, overhead power lines, or unstable soil—compromise the safety of the structure.

• Site Readiness: The client is responsible for clearly marking all private underground lines (sprinklers, gas, electric). L&A is not liable for damage to unmarked private utilities.
• Public Utility Locates: We will coordinate with public “Call Before You Dig” services (NJ One Call/PA One Call), but the final site safety clearance rests with our on-site Project Manager.

2. The “White-Glove” Inventory Care

We provide pristine, industrial-grade equipment. To maintain the aesthetic for all clients, the following rules apply:

• Prohibited Items: No crepe paper, streamers, or adhesives are to be attached to the tent fabric. The use of “confetti cannons” or unapproved heaters inside the tent is strictly forbidden.
• Cooking Standards: Cooking under any L&A structure is prohibited unless a specific “Catering/Cook Tent” has been designated and safety-cleared by our team.
• Fabric Integrity: Any damage caused by third-party vendors (florists, decorators, or caterers) remains the financial responsibility of the primary client.

3. Engineering & Weather Protocols

Every Wedding Tent Rental or Industrial Structure is a temporary installation subject to the elements.

• Emergency Evacuation: In the event of wind speeds exceeding our engineered ratings (typically 50-60mph depending on the structure), L&A reserves the right to order an immediate evacuation. The tent is a shelter, not a permanent storm bunker.
• Inclement Weather: L&A is not responsible for event cancellations or delays caused by acts of God, including lightning, floods, or heavy snow loads that exceed the structure’s capacity.

4. Logistics, Access & Labor

Our crews operate with “Superintendent-level” precision. To ensure a “White-Glove” delivery:

• Clear Access: The installation site must be accessible to our heavy machinery (TentOx, cranes, or Lulls). If the crew arrives and the site is obstructed or inaccessible, additional labor fees will apply.
• Job Site Etiquette: While we pride ourselves on cleaning up after ourselves—and often others—the client must ensure the site is free of debris and pets prior to our arrival.

5. Financial Terms & Cancellations

• Reservation Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your dates and inventory in our master schedule.
• Final Payment: All balances must be settled prior to the installation date. We do not “install and bill later.”
• Cancellations: Given the seasonal nature of the Northeast event industry, cancellations within 30 days of the event will result in the forfeiture of the total contract value.

6. Compliance & Permitting

L&A provides the technical drawings and fire certificates required for local municipalities in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. However, the procurement and payment of local fire or building permits are the sole responsibility of the client unless otherwise specified in a signed Labor Contract.

Acceptance of Terms

By paying your deposit or allowing our crews to begin installation on your property, you acknowledge and agree to these Operational Standards. At L&A, we don’t just “rent tents”—nosotros construimos entornos seguros y espectaculares.
